Their perfectly uniform lines and consistent intensity, benefit from a deep black. Willow charcoal produces a velvety black line. Ideal for studying techniques, the charcoal allows for fine and shiny strokes. It is also highly resistant to crushing and can be used on various media, white or coloured paper, cardboard, canvas, etc. They are perfect for beginners, professionals and artists who want to draw charcoal. These natural charcoals can be used for a variety of designs and artwork. They can easily be stained and corrected using a bread crumb gum. COATES is an extensive range of charcoals of different diameters, offered in boxes in assortments from 6mm to 24mm in diameter with increased resistance, avoiding excessive powder giving an intense black and soft texture.
